The long, dark nights this time of year are a good time to burrow with your favorite books and what better way to keep them all together than our Jarvie-style bookends! Scotsman Robert Jarvie (1865-1941) was an active artist and designer during the early 20th century Arts and Crafts movement. He created this design between 1905-1912 in his Chicago Illinois workshop. Anselmo has beautifully articulated the leaf in repousse' and contrasted the leaf's smooth surface with a heavily textured background.

This hand hammered copper plaque features a "Seed Pod" design, originally created in the Gustav Stickley workshop (1858-1942). Nearly 30 years ago the manager of the gift shop for the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studo asked us to make this vase, modeled after a 1909 Russian vase that was part of his personal collection. With nothing more than a photo Antonio Ziranda beautifully crafted a sample. It was an immediate hit and one of our best selling vases. I archived this vase for a few years and recently asked Antonio to make a small batch, they arrived and are ready for their new homes!

We first saw this bowl in the dining room at the much lovdd Greene and Green Gamble Home Museum in Pasadena, California. We liked it so much we decided to make it in copper and it's been a hit ever since. This bowl is water-tight and perfect for floating your favorite flowers - a cheerful accent for your home.
