Lucia Mathews and her husband, Arthur, thrived in the Bay Area at the turn of the early 20th century and helped develop a unique California style of the Arts and Crafts Movement that swept America at that time. Recreated with permission from the Oakland Museum of California we are thrilled to offer this limited edition digital print. In keeping with the Arts and Crafts Movement, each print is individually hand-colored in water color and gouache. Be sure to click the Additional Image for a close up of the incredible watercolor detail of the poppy blossoms. We first saw this bowl in the dining room at the famous Greene and Green Gamble Home Museum in Pasadena, California in the mid-1990's. We liked it so much we decided to make it in copper and it's been a hit ever since. This bowl is water-tight and perfect for floating your favorite flowers - a cheerful accent for your home. I use mine for fresh fruit, pretty and functional!
