This lovely organic design is reminiscent of fern fronds which grow abundantly in the forests surrounding the village of Santa Clara del Cobre, Michoacan where my artists and their families have lived for generations.
The fern frond is symbolic of resiliance and the ability to adapt to diverse environments, growth and renewal.
